Hazardous Materials Response (HAZMAT)

The Salem Fire Department is home to Oregon Regional HAZMAT Team #13.  This team is not only responsible for HAZMAT incidents within the City of Salem, but can be activated by the State of Oregon to respond to an area that stretches North to Woodburn, South to Jefferson, West to the Oregon Coast and East to the Marion County border.

To request information about Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) incidents at a specific address, download the Environmental Research Request form at left.  Send the completed form to Fire Station 1 at the address listed on the form.  You can also deliver your completed form in person to Fire Station 1.
