Widowed, Movin' On

10:00-11:15 am
Wednesdays

The "Movin’ On" class is for men and women who find themselves alone and feeling the need for support and understanding of others. We meet Wednesday mornings from 10:00 to 11:15 am at the Center. We encourage you to drop in and join us. The group is very informal, and topics may be introduced for discussion by anyone. We find helpful suggestions for those who are also trying to cope with the loss of their spouses. We try to not dwell on the negative, but look for positive aspects to help us truly "move on". We support each other socially as well as emotionally, and humor is encouraged to help lift everyone’s spirits to face another day alone. Many get together and have lunch at the Center following the meeting. Please feel free to join in the group. The Movin’On group is sponsored by: Orchard Heights Senior Community, Gibson Creek Assisted Living Residence, and Southern Hills Assisted Living Community.
